University of Cambridge Programme for Industry
The University of Cambridge Programme for Industry (CPI) helps senior leaders from business, government and civil society address social and environmental challenges.
In 2008 we organised and facilitated a roundtable on decentralised energy on behalf of CPI and the UK government’s Sustainable Consumption and Production taskforce. We brought in sustainability experts from the retail and waste sectors and local government to contribute to the consultation. Participants explored ways to encourage decentralised energy and overcome potential stumbling blocks.
In another project, we wrote a briefing paper to help senior executives from a major UK bank prepare for a CPI programme on sustainable business. The paper distilled complex information about sustainability into a short, accessible read for senior managers.
