Standard Chartered provides banking services in over 70 countries, with most of its operations in Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
We have worked with the bank since 2007, supporting dialogue with stakeholders and writing the 2008 on-line sustainability review. Our work included running focus group lunches in London and a series of telephone interviews to reach key stakeholders in Kenya, the United Arab Emirates, India, South Korea and China. The findings have been used to develop Standard Chartered’s sustainability strategy and reporting and in 2008 we worked with the bank to conceive and write the on-line sustainability report.
