Anglo American is one of the world’s largest diversified mining groups. It faces a reporting challenge due to the breadth and variety of its activities around the world, from coal mining to cement production.
We have been involved in Anglo American’s reporting since 2000 when we helped plan and write its first Environment, Health and Safety Report. Anglo has increasingly used local case studies to bring issues to life and show how corporate policies are implemented in practice. We wrote the case studies for their ACCA award-winning 2005 Sustainable Development Report.
Our work has also included strategic advice on sustainability issues, stakeholder research and a benchmarking exercise to help Anglo further improve its reporting.
